Bison Open and Pentathlon
This was a huge meet, even though some of our runners went to the Penn State National. Big meet does mean lots of chances to take pictures though. Especially in that 5K. There are an obscene amount of pictures on this page, so it may take a while to load, but it's worth it!

Here's a picture from about 100m into the 5K race. In other words, 24.5 long, long laps to go. Well, they're not that long, but they feel that way.

Here's Julie in the 5K. 25 laps is a lot of chances to take pictures.

Julie in lap 3. I can see my captions becoming monotonous.

I think Whitney took this picture, since he and Kayla were playing with my camera at this point.

Wow, that girl's arm swing looks almost as bad as mine. She must run much faster than me though, considering she's running next to Julie.

A really cool picture Kayla took. I originally was only going to put up about 2 of the pictures from the 5K, but I suck at decisions.

Of course Bucknell puts one BU runner in each heat, and of course I go crazy with my camera. Kate was in the second heat of the 5K, so I was able to take a bunch of pictures of her too.

25 laps is a long time. Kate's on lap 2, and her shirt is already illegal. It was illegal on the first lap too actually.

Notice the look of pain on Kate's face. I'm not sure if her train of though is, "Run fast! Get a good time!" or, "Run fast! When I finish I see Matt Straub!"

Here's Kate still running this horribly long and grueling race.

Kate coming around the curve. I screwed up this picture and it's really far away.

Here's Kate near the end of the race, one step closer to the finish, one giant leap closer to Matt!

This is the first heat of the men's mile. From the left, Matt, Mark, and Duffy.

Here's Ryan in the mile.

This is Billy running the mile.

Here are Erik and Sean in the mile. The picture is a bit blurry though.

Here's Carl in the mile.

This is a cool picture of Mellis in the 1000m for the Heptathlon.

Here's Kyle in the 1000m for the Heptathlon. Unfortunately, I took the picture a little bit too high and cut off his legs.

Here are Jamie and Jen in the mile.

This is Mollie in the mile, by far her favorite event ever. Oh yeah, and she wants to run 10K, because she's a true distance runner.

Here is Katie in the mile.

This is Lauren and Kelly in the mile.

Here is Kayla in the 3K. Notice her awesome Sharpie tattoos that Steph, Travis, and Kepler thought were real.

Here is Alison in the first heat of the 3K. I was warming up at this point, so Whitney had my camera. Thanks Whitney!

Here's a very cool motion blur picture of Alison.

Whitney really took a lot of pictures of Alison in this meet. Funny he took so many pictures of Alison, but only one of his girlfriend. Hmm...

Here's Alison again, although this picture is from a little farther away.

Whitney was almost as bad during this race as me during the two 5K heats.

The difference is I had one person to focus on during 25 laps. Whitney had five people to focus on during 15 laps, and somehow he missed Leanna! Here are Cindy and Alison.

Here's a cool picture of Cindy in the 3K.

Here are Rachel and Cindy in the 3K.

This is Rachel in the 3K.

Oh how nice. Now that Whitney has my camera, he can take pictures of me. Here are me and Steph in the 3K.

Here is Steph in the 3K.

Here I am running a time I really am not happy with at all in the 3K.

Oh look, here I am again. Notice the horrid arm swing.

Nikki had break line at this meet, so to break up the monotony of her job I decided to take a picture of her.

Like you weren't expecting this one. Seriously. If I skipped this picture, I think Kayla would have a heart attack, or never talk to me again. Julie might be happy though.
